Trysilelva river is especially well suited for rafting and other river activities. It has relatively warm water compared to many other rivers used for rafting in Norway, who has its source in glaciers. The stretch that we use is not continuous. This means that there are calm sections of river in between the rapids. Our trip through the wildest whitewater in the Trysil/Femund river runs from Myrstad past Elvbrua and ends in Krokbekkvika, a trip of approximately 12 km. We are on the river for about 2-3 hours, during which time we challenge the forces of the river and take advantage of all the fun that the river can provide. We end the trip with a warm meal and coffee in our Lavvu.
